Peperomia metallica has chocolate brown glossy leaves which have a silver stripe along the midvein. It branches easily and is low growing and will trail over the rim of a pot. The red on the back of the leaf adds another dimension to this creeper. Allow it to get fairly dry between watering. Good for a small hanging basket or it does well in a terrarium. This plant was formerly listed as Peperomia repii but this is not a valid name.

Care of Peperomia metallica:
Shade to partial shade, temp. 45 to 95 degrees, 6 to 8in. tall. Allow to get fairly dry between waterings.
