QScapes Iwagumi Starter Kit (Nano, 45cm)

The classic iwagumi layout, boxed and ready to build. This kit pairs jagged seiryu (ryuoh) stone with a full substrate system so you can lay out a proper stone-centric scape in a nano or 45cm tank. Iwagumi compositions follow a few proven rules: choose one strong main rock as the anchor, support it with smaller stones to keep the sense of scale, and arrange everything in odd numbers with a clear line of flow from front to back. The seiryu in this kit has deep fissures and white calcite veins that read beautifully under LED lighting, and the black Controsoil buffers the water slightly acidic, which carpeting plants like dwarf hairgrass and montecarlo love.

Planting guidance: plant densely from day one. Lay the Controsoil at a slope (deeper at the back), cap the foreground with Controsand where you want a path, and mist the soil as you go so it holds shape. Rinse the seiryu thoroughly before placing to remove dust, and use the Controlock to fix your main rock formation so nothing shifts when you fill the tank.
