QScapes XL Statement Hardscape Kit (90cm+)

A large-format statement hardscape for tanks 90cm and up, built around an XL ghost wood centerpiece flowing over seiryu stone and an enriched substrate base. Big scapes live or die on negative space: give the main wood room to read as a single dramatic gesture, place stone at its base to anchor the composition, and plant sparsely so the hardscape carries the design. Ghost wood is pale and deeply furrowed, so it contrasts beautifully with dark soil and green foliage, and seiryu stone with its white calcite veins adds history and detail at the edges. This is the kit for a living-art centerpiece in a living room, lobby or office.

Kit contents: UNS Ghost Wood XL, 30-40 inch piece; Seiryu / Ryuoh stone, 10 lb box; UNS Controsoil Black, 10L; UNS Controbase substrate supplement, 2L; UNS Controglue.

Sized for: 90cm and larger tanks.

Bundle saves you about 10% off the combined price vs buying each piece separately.

Planting guidance: anchor the ghost wood base firmly into a sloped Controsoil bed, reinforced with stones and Controglue at contact points. Keep a cleaning gap between wood and glass. Plant epiphytes like anubias and bucephalandra on shaded wood surfaces, use the Controbase around heavy root feeders, and resist over-planting: statement scapes read best with restraint, good light and clean lines.
