Tropica Echinodorus grisebachii 'Tropica' 1-2-Grow!

Echinodorus grisebachii 'Tropica', also known as Echinodorus parviflorus 'Tropica', is a small, distinctive sword plant that was discovered in the Tropica nursery in Denmark during the 1980s. This plant is well-suited for the foreground or middle ground of aquariums due to its compact size, which typically ranges from 5 to 10 cm in height. It forms a spreading rosette of medium to dark green, slightly bullate leaves that are narrow and obovate, resembling Samolus valerandi.

Care requirements: Difficulty: Easy (per Tropica). Light demand: Low. CO2 demand: Low; grows well without added CO2. Growth rate: Medium. Placement: Foreground to midground (rosette). Height in tank: 5-10+ cm. Aquarium plant from tissue culture in closed cup.
