Tropica Salvinia minima 1-2-Grow!

Salvinia minima is a small floating fern from the Americas with rounded, water-repellent leaves covered in fine hairs. It grows quickly at the surface, providing shade and cover for fish and shrimp while absorbing excess nutrients that help starve out algae. In good light the leaves develop a lovely brownish tint. Simply place it on the water surface; it needs no planting.

Care requirements: Difficulty: Easy (per Tropica). Light demand: Medium. CO2 demand: Low; grows well without added CO2. Growth rate: Fast. Placement: Floating surface plant. Height: spreads across the surface. Aquarium plant from tissue culture in closed cup.
