Quaron Meakens is not just an aquascaper — he is a living testament to the healing power of nature. After serving in the U.S. military in East Asia, where he was deeply influenced by the region's profound connection to natural aesthetics, Quaron returned home carrying the invisible weight of PTSD.
It was through the quiet, meditative practice of aquascaping that he found his path to healing. Inspired by the legendary Takashi Amano and the artistry of the Green Aqua team, Quaron developed a philosophy that treats every aquascape as a living painting — a miniature ecosystem that breathes, grows, and heals.
His work has earned recognition in the prestigious International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest (IAPLC), and today he channels that same passion into every custom build for clients across Central Pennsylvania.
