Common Questions
How much does a desktop waterfall cost?
Our standard desktop waterfalls start at $199 for a ready-made design. Custom builds with premium stone, rare plants, or LED lighting range from $250–$500 depending on complexity and materials.
How loud is the pump?
Virtually silent. We use ultra-quiet submersible micro-pumps specifically designed for desktop use. The sound of the water itself is gentle and calming — think spa ambiance, not fishtank hum.
What maintenance is required?
Almost none. Top off with distilled water every 1–2 weeks as it evaporates. That's it. No filter changes, no water treatments, no feeding. The plants and natural filtration handle everything.
Can I add fish or shrimp?
The Paludarium Mini style can support a few cherry shrimp or a single nano snail. Standard waterfall designs are plant-only — the water volume is too small for fish.
Do you ship desktop waterfalls?
We do not ship live builds. All desktop waterfalls are built and delivered within our Central Pennsylvania service area (Altoona, State College, Johnstown, and surrounding areas).
Can I customize the stone and plant selection?
Absolutely. During your consultation, we'll discuss your aesthetic preferences, desk space, and plant interests. Every build is one-of-a-kind.
